The last few days have shown us the extraordinary dynamism of global geopolitics and the unstable security situation in Europe. In just one week, the vision of a positive resolution to the conflict beyond our eastern border was undermined, leading to the need to redefine the security of Poland and the Central European region.
The current realities in which Poland finds itself – with unpredictable American policy, unstable governments in Western Europe and a defenceless European Union – impose on us the need to once again consider the geopolitical situation of our country. Is it possible to develop and implement a strategy that will guarantee our security for decades to come?
We would love to invite you to an open lecture by Prof. Dr. Habil. Adam Daniel Rotfeld entitled “Searching for a New Security Strategy for Poland in Europe”, which will take place on the 28th of February at 16:00 in room C-1031 at the Catholic University of Lublin (al. Racławickie 14). The Professor’s speech will take place as part of the “Discourses on the World” series of meetings and will thus inaugurate the first edition of our postgraduate studies “Diplomacy and Foreign Service.”
The lecture will be broadcast live on the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin’s YouTube channel. Link to the broadcast.
