Take part in the Summer School of Diplomacy – a project of The Center for the Study of Diplomacy at the Catholic University of Lublin addressed to final-year students, university graduates, as well as representatives of local governments, academics and experts interested in diplomacy, work in international structures and public administration.
The Summer School of Diplomacy will take place on 22-24 of September, 2025, and will consist of intensive, two-day training sessions and workshops. Each participant will receive a special certificate confirming their participation in the Summer School.
The Summer School of Diplomacy focuses on the practical aspects of diplomatic work, offering participants a series of carefully selected training sessions and workshops on topics such as:
–Diplomatic Protocol
–Public Speaking
–Negotiating
–Team Management.
During the two-day course, topics related to, among others, the formal and practical recruitment process for the diplomatic and consular traineeship at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be discussed, and participants will learn about employment opportunities within international structures and organizations. The aim of the course is to equip participants with specific competencies and specialized knowledge useful for work in the diplomatic and consular service, public administration, and international environments.
All classes will be taught by experienced Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff, including former and serving diplomats, external experts, and academic lecturers with extensive academic achievements and practical experience in international relations. The school offers a unique opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for working in a dynamic and engaging international environment in an intensive, hands-on format.
Participation in the Summer School of Diplomacy is free. The scholarship each participant receives includes:
–two nights’ accommodation,
–participation in all training sessions,
–full board,
–personal accident insurance,
–participation in all additional events during the Summer School.
Qualified participants will only cover the cost of travel to Lublin/Zamość. In addition, each participant will receive a special certificate confirming their participation in the Summer School.
