The Center for the Study of Diplomacy at the Catholic University of Lublin cordially invites you to the next seminar “The Role and Tasks of the Honorary Consul in Contemporary Diplomacy – the Perspective of a Professional Diplomat” as part of the series of meetings “University’s Diplomatic Forum”.

The seminar will take place on the 13th of March, 2025 (Thursday) at 10:30 AM in auditorium CTW-114 at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

The following will participate in the discussion:
– Verena Habil., Consul General of Austria in Warsaw and Secretary of the Embassy for Administrative Affairs,
– Peter Jesenský, Counselor and Consul General of the Czech Republic in Warsaw,
– Bogdan Łukasik, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Lublin,
– Piotr Majchrzak, Honorary Consul of Austria in Lublin.

The aim of the event is to create a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in consular activities and to seek answers to questions about the contemporary challenges facing honorary and professional consuls.
