We have the honor to invite you to participate in an international scientific conference dedicated to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in contemporary international relations. The event will take place on March 24, 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia.

The aim of the conference is to expand knowledge on the theoretical foundations and practical dimensions of parliamentary activities on the global stage.

 

The discussion will focus on two key areas:

Panel I: Parliamentary Diplomacy: Conceptual Framework and Lessons from Regional Cooperation Formats.

Panel II: Parliamentary Diplomacy as a Component of Contemporary Diplomacy.

 

The event is organized through international cooperation between:

Center for the Study of Diplomacy (KUL),

Catholic University of Croatia (Faculty of Law),

Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

 

The conference will be held under the high patronage of the President of the Croatian Parliament
